Minor Heat is the 11th solar term in the traditional Chinese calendar, signifying the hottest period of a year is approaching，but the extreme hot point has not arrived.
小暑，中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)24節(jié)氣中的第11個(gè)節(jié)氣，意味著一年中最熱的時(shí)期即將到來(lái)，但還未到最熱的時(shí)候。
The lotus flowers are only in full bloom during the peak of heatwaves. Due to its simplicity and elegance, the lotus is known to the Chinese as the floral god of summer.
荷花象征著純潔和高雅，只有在熱浪最盛的時(shí)候才會(huì)盛開(kāi)，被中國(guó)人稱(chēng)為“夏天的花神”。
Fireflies become lively at night as well. Visit a quiet park or forest, and you may find fireflies light up the surroundings and create a peaceful and romantic ambience.
螢火蟲(chóng)也在晚上變得十分活躍。走進(jìn)安靜的公園或樹(shù)林，你可能會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)螢火蟲(chóng)點(diǎn)亮了周?chē)沫h(huán)境，營(yíng)造出寧?kù)o而浪漫的氛圍。
However, the rising temperature may imposes negative impacts on the human body, causing fatigue and poor appetite. We have come up with some wise solutions. For example, eating heat-dispelling foods in season, watermelons, bitter gourds and green bean soup.
溫度的升高可能會(huì)對(duì)人體產(chǎn)生一些負(fù)面影響，比如疲勞和食欲不振。當(dāng)然也有應(yīng)對(duì)的好辦法。比如，吃一些當(dāng)季的清熱食物，西瓜、苦瓜、綠豆湯都是不錯(cuò)的選擇。
From now on, the northward-heading rain belt will move to northern China and the rainfall will become intensive and the amount of precipitation will soar. In contrast, the continuous rainfall for regions along the Yangtze River will soon stop and instead sizzling heat will dominate the land.
從現(xiàn)在起，雨帶北上，開(kāi)始向我國(guó)北方移動(dòng)。降雨強(qiáng)度持續(xù)增強(qiáng)，降水量將大幅增加。相比之下，長(zhǎng)江沿岸地區(qū)的持續(xù)降雨即將停止，隨之而來(lái)的是酷熱的天氣。（陳珉穎 任曄）
